There are many reasons why someone may come for counselling.  Some of the common reasons are listed below:

          You have feelings of low mood, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem or anger. 

          You may be going through a significant change in your life and be experiencing feelings of loss, grief,   confusion or fear.  

          You may be struggling to find ways of coping with your feelings in a healthy way and therefore may be using  self-harm,                    disordered eating  patterns, alcohol or other unhealthy ways of coping.  


           Day to day life may have become overly stressful and overwhelming .


           You may have suffered from abuse (physical, emotional, sexual etc) or been indirectly affected by it.

Don't worry if you do not fit into any of the above categories as reasons for people coming for counselling are as wide and varied as people themselves.   Whatever circumstance you find yourself in, my aim is to help you make sense of it and move forward with renewed  purpose in your life.
